ELES Spa is an Italian high-tech company specializing in the development of innovative testing solutions designed to improve the reliability of semiconductors. For over thirty-five years, it has supported the leading players in the global microelectronics industry in the development of high-performance devices, helping to improve their quality, safety, and reliability for mission-critical applications in the automotive, industrial, telecommunications, and aerospace & defense sectors.
ELES’s mission is to transform testing into a strategic tool for ensuring quality and reliability at the required Levels, through sustainable methodologies geared toward the goal of Zero Defects with Zero Waste. The solutions developed by the company enable the early detection of latent defects, the optimization of production processes, and the improvement of device performance throughout their entire lifecycle.

Founded in 1988 by Antonio Zaffarami, ELES has built its growth trajectory on continuous INNOVATION, the evolution of engineering expertise, and the development of proprietary technologies. Ongoing collaboration with key players in the semiconductor industry has enabled the company to establish a strong international presence and develop a globally recognized body of expertise in semiconductor testing and reliability engineering.
In 2019, ELES S.p.A. listed on Euronext Growth Milan to support its growth plan and investment strategy. In 2022, it acquired CBL Electronics, expanding its industrial footprint in the Aerospace & Defense sector and strengthening the Group’s position in high-reliability electronic technologies.
Nowadays, the Group is organized into two highly complementary divisions. ELES Semiconductor develops platforms and solutions for semiconductor testing, qualification, and reliability, while CBL Electronics A&D designs and manufactures advanced electronic systems for aerospace and defense applications. The integration of these areas of expertise enables the Group to offer the market a comprehensive approach, ranging from component validation to the development of high-performance, ultra-reliable electronic systems.
In 2026, ELES S.p.A. entered a new phase of its industrial journey with the investment by Xenon Private Equity and the subsequent delisting from Euronext Growth Milan. The transaction is aimed at supporting long-term growth, accelerating technological development, and seizing new opportunities in international markets. As part of the transaction, founder Antonio Zaffarami and CEO Francesca Zaffarami retained an equity stake in the company, confirming their continued commitment to the industrial project.
